Once, Aspire D257 is Netbook platform discontinuing product. When you buy Acer D257 in acer store, you will get the package, like Unit netbook, user guide book, and driver for D257.
More important think you should know..
= When you instal acer d257 by using Windows XP for all service pack, you will get no driver list in acer support. In acer site is only support to windows 7 32bit registered operating system. But, i have some source driver for WIn XP
= When you instal acer d257 by using Windows 7 64bit, you will get any trouble about driver support. Even thought Win 7 64bit run in acer d257, bit the system will run slowly. In this case, i do not recommend you to instal Windows 7 64bit. Keep use windows 7 32bit for safety.

When you instal acer d257 using win 7 32bit, You need only driver LAN, wireless and VGA.

DeleteUnfortunately acer d257 is only support Max 2GB installed memory. by single slot of memory
ou tnx. i saw in some forum that someone succeed to load 4 but in x64 win7.. and then couldn't find drivers.. i think there are only for x86 in official site..

acer d270(GMA 3600) dont have a driver to graphics card.
in d257 on xp evrything is support
graphic drivers here provided do not support XP. :-(
